Thirty years from now, there will be almost 10 billion of us living on this planet. And we’ll need around 70 percent more food than we currently produce. Striving to meet that skyrocketing demand, so-called Vertical Farmers say they’re able to grown ten times more food than traditional farms, using one-twentieth of the water, and no pesticides or herbicides. Christine Pirovolakis takes a look at this futuristic food industry.
