At the beginning of the year, a video was posted of a British Navy Marine using a JetPack in the open sea to fly from a speedboat following a warship directly onto a warship. In a few months, the video has collected almost 17 million views.
Already in September, information appeared that JetPack Aviation sold the first two JB-12 jetpacks to an unnamed military customer in Southeast Asia for $400,000 each.
The JB-12 weighs 105 pounds, has a maximum thrust of 2.34 kN, and reaches speeds of up to 120 mph.
